Talking about the Local Music Scene in Singapore, I'm kinda glad to see that in recent years, more and more local bands are getting much recognition in Singapore, as compared to last time, when everyone would say that local bands wouldnt make it and they're wasting their time pursuing music locally.(Although i must admit that Im pretty much aint open to local bands in the past as well.)
Well, people's perception do mind, and one of my favourite bands NOW happen to be local band, Electrico! ( No, i'm NOT supporting them just because Amanda Ling's HOT. lol). Rather, they're a bunch of talented local musicans who DARE to be different and pursue their music interests! Anyway, in case you're wondering who they are:

Well apart from this band now, I've yet to really explore MORE about other local bands out there and their music influences, and I will, the next time.
Anyway, I'm deviating away from what I have intended to blog about here, and that is the upcoming "Rock for Wayne" gig this Saturday:
By the way, as i was surfing through the myspace sites, i came across the band Astroninja (All stars), a band consisting of different band members coming together to piece the Tribute song together.
I thought that one of their songs, "Thunder- A tribute", written by Levan Wee and last produced by Wayne Seah, sounds really nice and cool!
